I'm generally slim (used to be very skinny) but with the onset of middle age have filled out a bit, particularly around my middle.

I don't do as much exercise as I should, although I've always walked quickly! I can't say I'm enthusiastic about going to a gym.

I've read all sorts of (often conflicting) material about how to get rid of my belly - diet and exercise, and now I'm totally confused - any one got any sensible real-world proven tips and advice? Thanks
