slimmin tea at wittards

I've read "somewhere" that wittards, the tea merchants, are selling some type of tea that can help, (with diet and exercise obviously!) to lose weight. It had some chinese type name I think, (not green tea though)...

anyone know what this might be?

Never heard of it as a weight loss aid, but have often heard that green tea helps.

There was a type of slimming tea sold but it was fake. Don't know about the one above but no tea can make you loose weight unless you drank it was a calorie controlled diet.

yup Jenga - am on a caloried controlled diet (as I wanted to lose 6kg / 13 pounds). Have lost 4kg (nearly 9pounds)
but weight loss is slowing down and I wanna boost it, (been exercising load too)

Thanks scarlett - I think (from reading wilipedia ) that this MIGHT be the tea - it sounds familiar.

It could be green tea extract.....it has ingredients that in some studies were shown to affect metabolism.

Lol - however....it's true that no tea's really going to help you lose weight. Drinking it without any milk or sugar's going to help FRACTIONALLY, and black and green teas can help rid the body of free radicals - but not in losing weight.
