This nutrition guide I'm reading at the moment from Mens Health on 'watching what you drink' says:

'Alcohol, fizzy drinks, along with a lot of juice blends contain empty, non-nutritious calories that work against you'.

And suggests:

'Drink water, diet drinks and skimmed milk'

I think this pasaage is lacking -surely some reccomendation for 'good' fruit juices should have been included

>>Can anyone suggest the type I should be looking for?

Always buy juice made NOT from concentrate. Copella is a really good make, and is made only from fruit- no added sugar or anything nasty. Fruit juice is still high in sugar and can whack on calories if you drink it by the bottle, so it's best to just have a small glass a day.
p.s Or even better, buy a smoothie maker and then you can control what goes into it. I bung in a banana, few strawberries and add some copella juice.
p.p. s I would not recommend diet drinks at all- they contain aspartime and other nasties that are probaby carcinogens if you have enough of them. Avoid!
