Does anyone know how much a small dehumidifier costs to run for 6 hours daily? Many thanks in advance, Nita

According to the EDF Energy running cost site , it uses
l unit of electricity for 3 hours running a dehumidifier.

hi ithink u would get more than 3 hours.They are rated at 250(average) watts which would mean u should get 4 hourrs for 1 unit.Also when they reach the desired humidity the wattage is reduced just to keep the fan tticking over till the humidity rises again so you should get more than 4 hours---James

Thanks to everyone, all the answers are so useful. My daughter has been wary of using one because of running costs.
