Spray Tans

Has anyone ever had one, how long does it last, is it safe, does it do your face as well, would you recommend it ?? In fact anything you could tell me about a Spray Tan would be most helpful. Thanks all !!

1) It lasted about 4 days for me before fading and then a week.
2) it is safe and recommended as a safe alternative to sun beds!
3) You can have your face done!
4) *Very important!!!! - Go somewhere that is busy and is recommended as I went to a new shop that a husband and wife owned. When I had mine done, the woman locked the door and the husband went into a back room while I was havign it done. It wasn't until I was dressing after did I notice that they had put the closed sign on the door and I also caught a glimps of the back room, when I got my coat and noticed they had CCTV of the room I was havign my spary tan!

Very scary - it has now closed and I think they had a few complaints!

My friend had a machine in her garage and used to spray tan in there
It lasted ages and looked real loads people asked if I had been away
Like Andrea said go somewhere that is busy then you know it will be good x
Good tip is to exfoliate the day before and moisurise so you dont get any dry bits that go patchy x

Yes it was VERY scary, the wife was very odd as when I went to book my tan, she had an Irish accent and when I went the following week she had an american accent!

I had one done a few years back and it was a disaster! Not sure if it was the girl doing it or the tanning system that was at fault but it ended up patchy and blotchy which I've never had before with a fake tan.

My advice would be to get it done in one of those places that just rubs it on, this seems to be the best way I've found of getting an even tan!

You can choose whether you want to get your face done or not, I chose not to as I use my own fake tan on my face which I love the colour of

Ok so if I do a fake tan myself, which make would you recommend ?? It is only to 'start me off' on holiday .

I found the garnier nutrisummer mosituriser with a hint of tan really good, it's the only one that I found didn't go patchy on me. I didn't like the Dove one, it made my palms go orange :-(

That would be a thing Myriad2112, not sure anyone would buy it though! They might not have even been up to anything, but I didn't want to chance it!

Fake Bake is the absolute best. Bit pricier than some, but virtually impossible to streak, and an excellent natural colour!
