I am thinking about doing this because I am quite pale and I dont like sun bathing due to not wanting the age my skin. I know nothing about spray tanning I once did a st topaz thing I sprayed/wiped on and that lasted maybe a week of something it was years ago cannt remember.

You can buy ones for use at home, how are these to apply and how long to they last? I have big tall body to cover.

You can go to tanning places where they spray you or you stand in a shower thing that sprays you?? just guessing here? whats this like? expensive and does it last long. I am not a very confident person I dont even go into hairdressers because I dont like the type of people who work in them I suppose tanning places would be the same?

Any help would be great thank you ideally I would want a long tan but maybe try a temp to see if I like it first ??

lol nice!!!
If you're as pale as me then I'd recommend using one of those sun beds for five minutes (if that) or sitting in whatever sun you can find... Any of those tanning creams/sprays will make me look orange, I'm just too pale for them. If you do decide to get a spray one, I'd get a professional to do it.. They know their business and it should lesson your chances of being tangoed! ;0)
A full body spray tan at my spa is £20.00
If you go to a salon they'll offer you different types and you can explain about being really pale and just wanting a light one - they'll tell you which is best. I'm really pale too and I've had it done a couple of times, people have always commented on how good and natural it looks.

I only had a spray tan once and the person doing it was fairly new to the job, she recommended too dark a colour for me and it went quite blotchy. However I feel that I had a bad experience! I'm not sure what you mean about the type of people who work in hairdressers - do you mean that they talk to you all the time, or something else? You can always say you are not a chatty person, it that's it, they won't mind.
Spray tan just makes you look like....you have spray tan on. Seriously, I'd rather a lady be natural whatever her skin tone.
Why not try the moisturisor with a hint of fake tan, like Johnsons Holiday Sun. That might be the best for your skin tone. You put it on a couple of days running and you don't get patchy at all. I use Garnier but it is a bit darker than the Johnsons one.
Or Marmite.
