Has anyone tried using lozengers to give up smoking and if so did they give any unwanted side affects like stomache cramps?

Lozengers were given by my doctor to help quit btw.
Dunno is the short answer! Can't say I've heard of it though. When I gave up I went cold turkey i.e. ordinary chewing gum and sugar free Polos. Good luck, stay with it.
What's wrong with the good old patches? Do you mean throat lozengers? For a sore throat? In which case I can't imagine they would do much except numb your throat for a bit.
i don't remember getting cramps, but i got sick feeling if i overdosed on them!! i think they're kind of addictive, btw!! stick with it! i'm now 5 months without a cig and 3 weeks without a lozenge!!
yes heartache, I've used them for a while now. When I first started on them apart from tasting absolutely foul they made me hiccup and belch, but no stomach cramps. Those effects went away after a week or so. I'm still addicted to nicotine, but I haven't had a cigarette in over a year, and that's the main thing.
