A good friend is considering signing up for a Chiropractic course at a college near Oxford. It entails basically one weekend per month for 5 years, and it costs nearly 6000 per year. As he doesn't live anywhere near Oxford, there would be travel & accommodation expenses to consider as well. Three main questions: 1) If you know the course I'm referring to, what's your opinion of it? 2) If that course involves 1 weekend a month for 5 years, surely there must be full-time courses elsewhere in the UK where you can learn the lot in one year, aren't there? 3) What do you reckon is the best Chiropractic course in the UK which can be done for the most reasonable fee in the shortest time possible, yet still provide the proper qualifications?

As it's unlikely there are going to be many trained chiropractors using this website, probably the best thing your friend can do is get a local trade telephone directory, phone up all the chiropractors who are listed and phone them to see where they trained and if they have any personal recommendations or suggestions as to how best he can train.
One weekend per month for 5 years, costing 6,000 per year = 30,000!

I dont know the best places to do such a course, but that one is not going to be one of them.
