I have been referred to see a psychiatric nurse for depression. What kind of thing should I expect when I go? Thanks. (Not a joke question)

Just a chat to see how you're feeling, how you deal with it at the moment and to discuss any plan of action such as counselling, group therapy or whatever is available for your problems in your area.

Nothing at all to worry about. Good luck.
When I went a few years ago they gave me a questionaire to fill in that said things like how often have you felt low in the past week and things like that also he asked me lots of questions about my life in general at that time as I was living with extreme domestic violence at the time which I believe caused all my mental health issues at that time as since I have been away from him I feel great even when I have **** day I find summat to smile about
I think they just assess you on the first appointment to see what treatment is best for you nothing to worry about at all x
They ask you questions about your birth...was it difficult ect. how was your childhood usual crap like that. Its just to see if you maybe suicidal really. Have been to one myslef.#
You could prob do better on here.
