i have type 2 diabetes and use insulin to control it but over the last 6 months or so have been getting pain in the form of a dull ache in my left thigh down to my knee this is when i am sitting down or driving it eases of when i get up and walk around for a bit could this be due to the diabetes medication i am takiing ie, the insulin and metformin if anyone as the same syptoms please let me know thank you in anticipation

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It sounds much more like you have a problem with your back and driving posture, especially as it eases when you get up and walk around. This is quite common. Try adjusting your car seat and being more aware of your posture and see if it helps.

Sometimes difficult to locate the exact reason sphinxy. I know driving causes me problems. I am arthritic and have associated nerve pains. They often go hand in hand. It is a very common problem though, so try not to worry too much. I would mention it to your GP, or a visit to an osteopath might help.
