i have this pretty bad. normally i wake 2 hours before i need to, giving me 5-7 hours sleep, i need 9. even if i go to bed late or early, i wake 2 hours before i need. how do i stop this? i tried nytol but it leaves me stoned for a day. thanks.
Perhaps try getting up and meditating for a while, it may help with the anxiety. Better than going on medication I'd say. Lying awake in bed just associates bed with not sleeping.
Or go to bed later, with a cup of chamomile tea.
I find once I wake once or twice at a certain time, I keep waking up at that time.
