This year for my 30th I had a bit of a party and then went up town wearing my pjs. Excellent night.
HUH!!

You mean going into town in PJ's isn't an everyday thing

Oh.... is that way I keep getting strange looks :)
I never even got strange looks Saturday night. I;d be talking to people then after a while it would suddenly dawn on them
On my last significant birthday I wanted to do something different that wasn't wildly expensive, so we went pony trekking for the day.

Mind you, after a day sat on a horse I was in no mood for Mr O's idea of a bedtime treat that night!
my daughter was recently 30- and loves driving - i bought her a day on a skid pan- she loved it -

www.IntoTheBlue.co.uk has all sorts of interesting stuff
My last birthday was lovely...

Went for champagne breakfast with my parents and a few friends, then to a medieval festival for a few hours, and finally met with some more friends in the pub for a few pints.

No dirty dishes, no mess, no hassle...
Even though it is quite expensive, i would defo recommend doing a skydive! It's the best feeling ever! i did one a couple of months ago in NZ and loved it!

I was going to mention Into The Blue too.

I organise social activities for our company and we're going to take part in a half day 'circus skills' course.

I bought a friend a gliding lesson for their 40th birthday. It cost 50, and they loved it. They had the lesson this last Saturday. They are now a temporary member of the glidiing club for 28 days and can have other lessons in that time for about 18 a go.
