Hi i am now 18 and i am going to see my GP next week.

I have finished college and plan to go to university if i get the grades in august.

My question is...will i have to pay for my prescription?

(I seem to remember on the back of the prescription you can tick a box that says '16,17 or 18 and in full time education' and then you get your prescription free)

But am i in full time education if im not yet at uni???

Please help! Thanks! SS xx

No, I'm afraid that you'll have to pay for your prescriptions from now on. I think probably because they think you'll be able to manage a sustainable job along with your education. So you have to pay.
mmm.dodgy ground for saying you are still in full time education. it would almost certainly be better to pay the 7.10 than be fined up to 100 + 50 for late payment. i shelled out over 40 over the last 2 weeks as my hubby got very unwell and i let his prepayment certificate lapsed. as you are an adult now, get on with paying the indirect taxes that fund the nhs you use (and get used to it - they will only get more expensive as life goes on!)
If your parents are still in reciept of child benefit (or child tax credit) and this is usually the case until september after you finish school, then you will get free precriptions
I agree with Richard1966. If your parents are still in receipt of Child Benefit for you then you are still considered to be at school.
if you live in wales they are free.
