Neck lump or gland?

Has anyone else had a gland come up on there neck for no apparent reason? I havent been ill or had any infection so am confused as to why or what it might be. Had it for around a week and no sign of it going. Any ideas?

You really should have lumps checked out by your GP.

Neck glands do not come up for "no reason" Go to your GP as suggested by ladyalex.

Before you start worrying I had what I thought were glands on my neck when in fact they were bites!! They took a fortnight to go away.
