depressing!!

Hey all!
Ok, so I'm a 21 yr old lass who is one of the unlucky ones! Basically, (tries not to hide in shame) I'm a 34AA chest size and it gets me down!
When I was in my teens, I always dreamed of having a boob job, but at the sae time worried what my mum and sister would think as they are small too!
I then met a man who loves me very much and we have been together for 4.5 years, and to start with I always thought well if he loves me as I am I should be happy!
But these days its really starting to get me down again :( I can only dream of wearing pretty tops and bras, and literally live my life in vest tops with a padded bra underneath.
I'm just pretty deflated (literally!) and although I love the thought of a boob job, even to a size B or C, I just dont know!
Help!

I'd suggest, like others on here, sorting out your mind before you do something permanent to your body.
I'm a size 8 with B cups now, so I've always been small, and its only in the last 3-4 years they became fuller (i'm 23).
I used to use those gel filled bra's - they can look quite natural, or what about chicken fillets?
love your body and be happy that it is healthy. Your perfect the way you are - how boring would it be if we were all the same!

wiggal, I had small boobs when I was young and hated them, now they're a lot bigger and I hate them, want the little ones back!
I understand why it may get you down, but everyone has given you great advice, i bet you look fab, I would kill to be able to go braless now and then and not just in private!

Hey all,
And Thank you very much for all your answers and advice :-)
I guess if I hadnt had the stick I did at school, then it wouldnt be as much of an issue for me.
And to everyone who said it, I can see I do need to sort my mind out before I start changing anything else.
How I do that is another matter mind you!

hi dont worry about your chest size just yet im 28 and before my kids i was 34c which i felt was small as im 5'8'' but ive had 2 children and now am 34e, when i was breast feeding my son i went up to 36g!! my sister was a size 6-8 and no boobies before she had her daughter now 6mths and she has plenty boobies now to go round the lot of us!
look at the likes of kate moss etc they are classed as fasionistas and some of the most beautiful people have fairly flat chests,
you will always see what you think are flaws in yoruself but you must learn to love the skin and shape you are in, believe me when youve had children and your chest is bigger with a hint of sag youll be wishing for your old chest back, know i do sometimes!

Awww hon :(
I spose the grass is always greener. My 36G ones have really been getting me down lately and I've been considering have a reduction.
I look at all the stuff that ladies with lovely little boobs can wear without having to rule out anything that is strapless, halter neck, see through, , delicate, with cups built in or a line which is meant to fit under the bust but doesn't even get halfway down mine so would hang off my boobs and make me look pregnant :( Anything with rigid fabric is a nono too unless it's too big for me, lycra is my best friend :)
I'd love to be able to exercise without the fear of being knocked out and having to have a straightjacket type bra to try and keep them in one place. Don't even get me started on yoga, nearly suffocated once trying to do the dog position :)
They're heavy and a pain in hot weather and it's a beggar to find a shirt that fits round my chest that doesn't look like a sack round the rest and my bras have to come from selected stores and cost more.
Oh and all the dodgy men who ogle them...urgh!
Anyway...rant over :) I did used to love them when they weren't quite so big but I've had a few breast scares and it made me feel differently about them and the breast surgeon suggested I get them reduced.
I can't reduce mine but you can make yours bigger when you want to with push up bras and gel pads etc... and have the choice to wear something that suits a smaller chest.
I hope this helps in a way x

You know you could be a late bloomer like me, I have just turned 25 and in this last year I have gone from a 34B to a 36DD/E. I know its hard feeling the way you do I did too for a long time and if im honest I would prefer to be a little smaller as I struggle to find shirts that do up nicely lol. I think the sensible thing to do is leave it a while to see if you have finished developing then if you still feel the same it might be worth looking into surgery - but I personally would leave that as your very last option, im sure you know the possible complications etc...
A very difficult thing for me to write about. I, too, have been very conscious of my small boobs the whole of my adult life. Never a day has gone by when it hasn't bothered me. But still, friends have admitted to being envious of the way I looked. They have always noticed my good aspects and not what I consider the bad ones. Some have actually said they would love to be flat chested, like me! Large boobs cause all sorts of problems, including back ache!
Clothes certainly do look better on flatter -chested girls. And they don't have the problem of the dreaded droop as they get older! My partner cannot understand why I have such a hang-up about my shape - and I'm a Grandma now! A genuine man won't be bothered by what you don't have, only by what you DO have. OK, he may well look at and admire large boobs; men have been programmed since the beginning of time to do so but looking at something and actually wanting it for themselves are two completely separate things. I find it easy to discuss this rationally, but if I could change one thing about me, it would still be my boobs! I wouldn't have surgery though; it can cause so many problems. Pregnancy can completely wreck them, necessitating the removal of the implants; about 30% less of the breast can be scanned for cancer and the implants will eventually have to be removed anyway. Lots to think about but I know EXACTLY where you're coming from.

I know this is an old post, but I'm going to reply anyway. I know exactly where you are coming from Wiggal. I am in my forties. Mine didn't grow with kids. I was searching under this heading as it still gets me down. I would love a boob job, but I focus on how I would feel if it actually went wrong, and believe that I am better off tiny boobed and healthy than suffering with some horror story whilst having little kids to look after. It would help if shops stocked our size. Only yesterday I left M&S in tears! Shops cater for large sizes but ignore us little people. That said, I am proud that I have the body I have at my age. I am slim. I don't have cellulite. I look younger than my years, and I focus on these things instead. I would love to be even just a b cup, but I bet if I had implants I would find something lese about myself to criticise. Wiggal, love yourself as you are. Things could be far worse. x
