Agrapbobia and alcahol
4 Answers
I have recently just come back from a wedding in Poland, and the next day my friend asked me to go up to London for a drink, I was still hungover from the weekend in Poland, but said yes, anyway, when i got to London, started getting really agraphobic, the tall buildings were freaking me out, and i started getting panick attacks, and felt like my head was going to pop, has anyone else suffered this?

I'd been out drinking (over drinking I should say) on the Friday night and then had to get up early Saturday to go on a trip with my little cousins ton the London Dungeons. Going to the London Dungeons when you are sober is one thing but going when you are hungover is another. Definitely not recommended. Lol
I had that as well -I thought it was the DT's but as it transpired it was because I was agorophobic and it has taken me years to overcome that first panic attack (yeah -i can actually type it and not have a flutter).
Thankfully you have recognised it and it wont be a blight on your life as it has been on mine -DT's are usually the result of sustained long term alcohol abuse and sudden withdrawal -mine wasnt and yours doesnt appear to be either.
Dont ever let it get you down -just keep going -its BCT and it works.I sadly didnt recognise the signs until it had taken a hold -dont wasnt your years in fear.
