worried

ok here goes...
( im off to the docs tueday so will be asking doc, just wondered if anyone had experienced this)

2 years ago, i had an abortion, not something im proud of but it happened, i was told after the abortion i would bleed maybe for up to 2 weeks, maybe quite heavy, but i never not one single drop, then i never had a period it just never came!!
then.... about a year later i got this unbearable pain in my stomache ( possibly bit lower then stomach) it was terrible i could hardly walk so i want to A & E to be told i shouldnt have gone there, they dont deal with petty stomach aches, so instantly i felt stupid! anyway i explained to the nasty nurse about my abortion and not getting a period and her response was " oh that wont be anything to do with it"
anyway i walked out and when home, had a lie down and when i got up went the loo and there is was!! my first period for a year! well i have periods since but very irregular! anyway to get to the point its now a year later from that and im pregnant, me and b/f very happy about it but i cant help worrying about all the pain and no period after abortion, now im pregnant im worried about the baby, has anyone experienced this? or anything like this?????? thats for any responses xx

I don't see any reason for this to be anything to worry about. The baby can't be affected by having an abortion so long ago. Periods can be irregular. It sounds like you are probably feeling so guilty now from the abortion that you feel you don't deserve this baby. Well you do and stop worrying about it!
