Fake tan injections???

Has anyone ever heard of injections that cause your skin to tan? My niece visited on sunday and said her next door neighbour has been using them and is really brown,she said she thinks they are illegal in this country but 've never even heard of them.

It's injectable melatonin, daffy. I know some body builders use it, but I have no idea where they have it done (although there's an American site where you can buy it to do yourself) or whether it's safe or not.

Thanks for the link gina32,it doesn't actually say on there whether they are illegal here though.
Whiskeysheri,I can't imagine injecting yourself daily for the sake of looking good! If they can make a tablet that does the same thing though I might consider it.lol.

Hmmm,it says it works by saturating the body with carotene-the skin would turn orange,not brown.I think i'll stay pale thanks.I would hate to be walking round looking like i'd been tangoed!!! pmsl.
