I recently had my shoulder length hair cut very short and now I can't use the straighteners I have.Has anyone got any advice as to which would be the best straighteners for short hair? They need to be usable on hair that is around 3 inches long and they also need to be able to reach very close to the roots/scalp.I don't want cheap rubbish but also can't afford GHD's. TIA.x
Hey, daffy, hun! The best for really short hair are the GHD Mini Stylers. I can have a look round for the cheapest if you want me to? I found some of the normal set really cheap for my auntie a while back.
Oh, and have you put up any piccies of your new style on FB yet? :)
Hi whiskeysheri,no photos up yet, mostly because I haven't had any taken with my 'new do'.lol
I will have to get my oh to take some soon so I can show it off. :-)
I might have to ask someone to get me the GHD's for Christmas as I definitely can't justify buying them for myself!
If you can find the cheapest price for me that would be great.!
This model has the universal voltage (I almost cried in America with my old ones!) and they also turn themselves off if you accidentally leave them on.
about 6 years ago I got kodo straightners through ukhairdressers.com and I still have them and my friends that have ghd's say they prefer mine. I was worried after having them for so long they would stop working one day and went to order a 2nd pair so I would never be found stuck without them. Uk hairdressers at the time recommended their own ones and said I could have them on a trial basis. I really like both pairs and my sister has the same and cannot fault them. My hair is getting long now but I had it as a chin length bob and had no problems using either of these. They are half the price of ghds.
Hi daffy I've seen men's straightners adverstised - it was either in Argos or the Boots xmas catalogue, so they are designed for short hair. Sorry I can't be more specific, but hopefully will help! x
