Not rough enough
5 Answers
I'm worried that my 'bit of rough' is becoming a bit too refined for my liking. He has started to pronounce his vowels correctly just lately, which is bad enough as it was his regional accent (and his incredibly sexy voice) that attracted me to him in the first place. But I've also discovered he has started to visit trendy eateries for breakfast (when I confronted him about this he said he had only popped in for a bacon sandwich), in the stockbroker belt of Surrey?
How can I tell him I like him the way he is, or do you think it is too late, I am worried he may start to get 'in touch with his feminine side' and that will be the end.

If your post is serious then I seriously recommend you get your priorities in order.
" (when I confronted him about this he said he had only popped in for a bacon sandwich)" Are you for real??? Normally that reads " When I confronted him about this he said SHE kissed HIM " I'm sorry teasmaid but I think you are making a mountain out of a molehill.
Do you think he's changing because he thinks you want him to? Or because he feels like it? If it's because he wants to change, you just have to deal with it, and hopefully find other ways to find him sexy. If you think he's changing because he's trying to please you, then you can let him know that he doesn't need to change to please you.
I have to say I agree with PaulB. Your priorities are all off kelter and it sounds like you're only with him because he sounds a bit rough...what's that about? Just because he goes to a nice place for a bacon sarnie in the morning doesn't mean he's changing into a different person! Do you like HIM, or just your initial perception of who you thought he was?
teasmaid...
perhaps your mans need to `seek the pig`
was borne out of nothing more innocent than pure hunger and believe me i`ve had bacon butties from down there so no wonder he`s having trouble with his vowels.so don`t worry to much, if he`s anything like me we were born rough and thats the way we stay.i know where your cummin from though,i`m experiencing a similar situation with a bit of posh totty i work with(and crazy about)she sometimes lets her p`s and q`s slip now and then but her charm, sense of humor, and great laugh more than make up for it.so stick with it i`m sure he`ll be as rough as you want him to be.
p.s umm teasmaid,,,didn`t you used to be
goblin teasmaid or was that someone else???(ops sorry that was a bit rough and crude of me)
bye(whispered)
