ive been having bladder probs for a few years now ..5 years ago i had my bladder lifted with a tape every thing was good till about 1 year ago .after i urinated i would get a bad burning sensation , 2 weeks ago . i went into hospital for the day surgery. i had an epijural in the spine. its was good ,couldnt feel a think , better than going to sleep . i had a colposcopy . the doctor showed me my bladder on a monitor ,, it was inflamed , he also stretched it . he filled it with water after that , he put a catheter on me , i went back to the ward. after about 4 hrs , the numbness wore off , i was in a bit of pain , cause the catheter wanted turning on , as soon as the nurse did it , i wasnt in any pain ,as the water to stretch my bladder came out , i had somethin 2 drink and eat , made sure i passed water normally , then i went home , now just over 2 weeks , it has settled down . i dont pee as often , i used to go to the loo up to 6 times a nite , now its down to 2 or 3 ,and the burning has gone , im so glad i had it done , i can go nearly all day now , without going to the loo . its fantastic , i recomend it to anyone whos having probs , i hope this helps anyone ....
