tattoo outline?

I was tattooed on my wrist about 2 weeks ago. Its a pink star (pink outline, no black) and its coloured in pink too. Around the edges there is a purple line, the colour of the transfer the guy used. Could this be brusing or has he managed to do something that's made the outline stay on me? It was a big sore to touch until a few days ago, like a bruise would be, but its not today and it hasn't faded!

Try giving it a quick wipe over with something alcohol based to see if it comes off, if not, it's probably just a bruise. If it's been tender and you've not been able to give it a thorough clean it may be residue from the transfer, so try the alcohol thing. My wrist tattoo bruised, as it's a tender area.
