female sterilisation

I`m due to have an operation soon to be sterilised. I just wondered if there`s any other women out there who`ve had this op done, and what your experiences have been.

My Girt had it done years ago , i told her it was for her own good, I was really worried,

I mean who was gonna do the washing and hoovering? , Anyway I was quite relieved when she caught the bus and was back the same day and caught up with her chores the following day ,

I was really impressed, but the dog wasn't he did miss his walk that day .............

migirl i had it done many years ago,no problems apart from a slight infection in the wound area,try and keep clean and dry,i felt slightly depressed after but soon bounced back,no regrets at all!!!!

I had my tubes tied when I was 28, no problems at all. Best thing to do if you are sure you don't want any more babies; great not to have to worry every month.
However, it does fail in a very few cases and I have a friend who had a daughter 12 months after being sterilised. They don't guarantee it.

And seriously thanx for the other two answers. I know they don`t guarantee it, but it`s over 99%. And i got pregnant with the coil fitted, so this is my last option now anyway!
