Searching for Boots
37 Answers
Hi All,
I need some boots and I've got very specific requirements.
They must be dark red in colour (think red wine/burgandy).
They must be flat or very low heeled.
They must be long but not necessarily knee highs.
They must have a brand name, (not high class, New Look will do but I want a named shop I can take them back to if needs be!)
They must be a size 7.
They must be within a two figure price range.
They must be waterproof.
I do not like pointy shoes, I do not like shoes that have a different colour heel to the style of the shoe, I do not like Primark or Next shoes, I do not require wellies so please do not feel these would be a good subsitute, I do not like fire engine red shoes so do not suggest these as a compromise in colour... Actually 'compromise' isn't one of my favourite words in general.
I have searched and searched the walls of ebay , Faith and Topshop and I've had no luck but I've seen two people wearing this type of boot today so they must be out there somewhere!
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

What do you think? I'm not sure they look red enough?

Same ones as I put up for you China - and I reckon they would be, in "the flesh". River Island do some nice ones, but not sure they'd have the colour in that you want. Funnily enough, I bought some suede burgundy ones last year - lovely, but they're ankle boots, and I can't for the life of me remember where they came from!
