I would go see an Osteopath maybe. It could be due to anything slight like posture, your chair, even sneezing. It may not be serious but if you leave it may get worse. A chiropractor should be able to sort you out and check things like posture and alignment. If it is a disc problem, a chiro won't be able to help much, but hopefully it's not. Either way, you need to get someone look at it. It's expensive (40-ish for first appointment) but far better than a Doctor who will just give you pain killers and send you away.
For the moment put something like a small cushion or rolled up hand towel behind your lower back when seated.

You need to concentrate on keeping good posture, with the lower part of your spine pushed forward.

I suggest for the moment you do not lie on your back on a hard surface.
I used to get the same when I sat on the stairs talking on the phone. Turned out my cocyxx (sp) was paying the price of me sat on a hard surface tho' carpeted was bearing the brunt of me yapping for ages. We had the phone moved to the front room so I now sit on a soft chair to yak away.
