I worked in a charity shop after losing my dad shaking after my mums death 18 months later I worked p/t in our local library on a voluntary basis. I knew the manageress thats how I got in but maybe you could ask at your library. You will get through this. xx
Thanks Chinadog, I will enquire at the library, sounds good to me as I love reading etc. Don't need paid work Sara3 as I am am sick of paying tax to keep the won't work brigade.
Perhaps apply to one of those companies (I can't remember the name of the company I applied to) who provide answers to questions via text messaging.
It's not greatly paid, about 37 pence for every answer you provide, but it involves internet research and you have to have a good command of the English language, good grammar and punctation, which I'm sure you have Shaking.
Thank you for asking what I mean, shako! It raises one's hopes for the possibliity of communication between human beings!
I mean it never was very pretty to call people the 'x bigade' and by association is getting less so. I do hope you will see this when you give it some thought, and discontinue the practice.
a lot of people have lost there jobs with the recession shaking, its unfair to describe them as the "wont work brigade" a lot of people I know who work in engineering are struggling to find work, any work with any pay. its just not available.
But people like caz and me NEVER give up hope. You did say you need to feel useful again, and I take that (perhaps wrongly) to mean that your heart is in the right place.
We are only trying to ensure that your tongue is too.
