I'm in love with my best friend.

A few months ago I told one of my best friends that I had feelings for him, we are alwasy so flirty that I honestly thought maybe he felt the same way. Long story short, he said he loves me too but just as a best friend... Not to be arrogant but I'm an attractive girl and we get on so well that I don't understand how he can just have get with random girls but seems not to see me that way at all... We pretty much act like a couple already just without the sex... I don't understand what more he could be looking for and now I'm just stuck with these feelings that aren't going away. Any advice pleasee???

^ curious_cat, if you were not already aware, this is the site's premier drunk. It is a shame that he has to spread his garbage beyond the Chatterbank, but heck, when you are trollied in even the half-brain you have, everything seems sensible. curious. Now you know why people are leaving this site.
You have a difficult situation. Try talking it through with your friend. I think you will find that in time, as he starts to think of you as a girl rather than just a friend he mat well start to have amorous feelings for you.
But be warned. Friendships are often for life. But romances have a tendency to end, and with it the friendship.

Curious Cat - I'm a guapa too! lol
Seriously, it may be the case that your friend currently enjoys no-strings-attached sex with various women, and thinks too much of you to take advantage of you, given the depth of your feelings towards him. He may change his mind in the future when he is ready to start thinking of having a committed relationship. However, I wouldn't recommend foresaking any opportunities in the hope that you will one day get together with this friend of yours. x

Hey CC, i would maybe advise keeping away from him for a while. might be hard as it sounds like you really get on, but you're not being fair on yourself by putting yourself through it all. If he asks why you've not spoke etc just explain that you're finding it hard being around him with these feelings. While you're on your 'break' from him, see how you feel. think it through if its worth going on with your freindship with the feelings you have, some people can cope with it. but you may find it too hard and have to end your friendship. Besides you never know, you may find while you're on the 'break' that he might realise he likes you more than he thinks when he doesn't see you for sometime.
