Following on from the pot question, I want to see how truthful everyone's going to be...hands up out there anyone who's ever cheated on a partner? I have, twice, but back when I was still in my teens so I use hormones as an excuse!

I have, three times. Although once was actually in front of my girlfriend, so I dont know if it counts as cheating as she was the first to know. No excuses really, bit young, bit stupid and very drunk. Older and wiser now, but still drunk

Guilty as charged - twice. Once at 17 and once at 18, not on my current partner though. Perhaps I was old enough to know better but it still haunts me to this day and I feel rotten for it.

Lucas2, that's a tricky one, as I think the mistress (or master?) should feel just as guilty, although technically he/she isn't doing anything wrong. Or is he/she? Cunning sub-question!

cheers natalie personally I wouldn't do to someone what I wouldn't want done to me ..... If I knew a partner had done it to me then my answer might have been different.

It depends what constitutes cheating, I was guilty when I was younger however since the age of 18 never have done.

Of course I have cheated on previous partners in my youth, I just put that down to being a rampant bloke.  Wouldn't do it to my current girlfriend though, as not only is she 'the one', but I prefer my tackle intact.

Yep, cheated on my ex several times. I was old enough to know better as well. I wanted out of the relationship and didn't have the gall to face the situation. I'm not proud!

I cheated on my husband with his friend and ended up marrying the friend 14 years ago. did have lots of guilt but know i made the right decision.

Er... there are some of us who have never had the opportunity to cheat on someone in the first place.  I have occasionally changed from thinking about one person to thinking about another person while in the middle of m-st-rb-ting.  Does this count?  GSTQ.

Cheated once when I was 19 at Uni.  Girlfriend at the time was back at home... no excuses, just drunkenness and typical 'lloking after number one' attitude.  Not done it since.  My wife's sister tried it on with me once though... didn't get what she wanted. HAHA.
