Never heard of that theory but can't see what would stop you losing weight if you still carried on eating and doing whatever you were doing the rest of the month.

lol thanks. i've tried lookin on the internet, but nothing came up. hmmm, i think my friends may be telling porkies!! xx
It is true that some women suffer from bloating and water retention during their menstrual cycle, and while they are still losing fat on their diets, the scales may not show a loss.
Usually, though, these women lose more weight than normal the week after their period, assuming the weight themselves weekly.
This is perfectly normal and not a reason to take those over the counter 'water tablets'.
im looking forward to your next thread. what will it be? 'periods and beards'?

As an idea for your own thread, I think that's pretty accurate and, by all means, head off and talk about periods and your own lack of humour/grammatical well-being, but for the purposes of this particular thread, and the hijacking here-in, kindly pat yourself on the back for a job well done and go make your Will & Grace sarcasm act elsewhere.
errrrr ok im going to make a whole new revolutionary thread
