I have no doubt that there is a wicked spirt called Satan who was once an angel in heaven but cast out by God. And most of all I have no doubt that my God reins in heaven and is the King of both heaven and earth. Question is:  Can any soul on this earth afford to not believe in God, or are they so arrogant and ignorant that they think Satan can save them from God's mighty wrath.

and indeed are YOU so arrogant and ignorant to base your whole life on the writings and compilations of a single book? Religious beliefs are a very personal thing. You have every right to believe what you wish, just please don't try and inflict it on the rest of the planet. I'm not saying a god doesn't exist, but you need to question what you are basing it on. The Bible as you know it is a "selected" group of texts. Ask yourself the motives of the compilers and why they included some books and not others. You may be basing your beliefs on biased material. Just food for thought.

Once again :How sad that only one has stated "Repent the end is nigh" for this person does know that one day we will all be judged by our God in Heaven. God is the same God that he was in the old testament. His great love and wrath for those who do not follow his words is no different. For those that so dare Hail Satan you too will one day bow down on your knees and confess God's name on the day of judgement.  Free will is a choice for each human being to either serve God or Satan. I would have hoped that there would be more here to stand up for God but then again God states the way is narrow and few who will find it. God bless you all.

By the way, how come the Old Testament God preached "an eye for an eye" while Jesus preached "turn the other cheek"?

I am really sorry, Godsservant, but I object strongly at your 'God Bless you All' at the end of one of your postings, as a sanctimonious way of pitying us all on here.  You seem to be setting yourself up as something greater than us.

Jennymac:  Everyday. How can anyone go outside and look at the sky and trees and mountains and ocean and not know God. How can one hold a beautiful baby and not see God. How can you hear and feel the wind and not know where it comes from ? Faith.  See what Jesus says in John 14 which is one of many examples. Phillip asked in vs. 8 the same thing you are asking. "How can one hold a beautiful baby and not see God." Well, speaking personally, I tend to see a beautiful and fragile being that has resulted from a complex interaction of DNA. It�s no less marvellous or precious or worthy of love and devotion for all that but there�s sure as eggs is eggs no need for God in the equation.

See what Richard Dawkins says in the Blind Watchmaker. It�s a coherent argument that demonstrates very convincingly that there�s no conscious design in the universe.
