i am 18 and am probably going to have sex for the first time in the near future, i was wondering what men prefer with regards to pubic hair (completely bald or just nicely trimmed?) also i have a line of fine hair running down from my navel, should i wax it off?

as a girl i'd say don't go to extremes for the first time.  use veet or whatever to tidy up the edges and maybe trim a bit, but don't wax it all off.  I'm 18 too, and as far as i can tell 'playboy' waxs seem to be this thing to do to spice up your sex life and seeing as you're just beginning you don't need it spiced!

as for the tummy hair, don't stress about it, pretty much everyone has it but if it really annoys you (and thats *you*, not him) bleach it.

in general (i know its a cliche) but if you trust this guy enough to lose your virginity to him then you should trust him not to be so shallow as to make a big deal about personal grooming :)

Trust me, as a man, he'll be far to busy worrying about what you think of him to worry too much about your intimate scenery.I have no preference either way, and if I was ever to enjoy the privelige of being a lady's first, I would be concentrating on making sure she felt relaxed and happy, and I would be delighted with what ever physiology she unveiled.

If we left things to grow wildly out of control we'd all have silly hippy hair, wear really big shoes to accomodate our toenails, thick beards, hidden genitals, mono-brows and hairy pits.

i reckon from experience and because i always ask my friends and all blokes i know! because i've had the same worry.  The most often answer is a nice trimmed waxed strip, but not all gone because they dont like "to look at you and think of a child".  But to be honest, a lot of blokes are happy as long as like someone else said trimmed and clean!

Thanks brucie-lucie but you are to late, the event in question has allready passed and i shaved it all off! he loved it and kept saying wow but also said i look younger than i am, especially with my clothes off and i'm only 18! by the way we didn't have intercourse so i'm still a virgin, but we did pretty much verything else.
