Grooming Salon

Im looking to open a Grooming Salon which will include haircuts, traditional wet shaves with cut throat razor including hot and cold towels and face scrubs, indian head massage and some form of manicuring. Men are now wanting to have some lovely pampering as well as the ladies. I well have some good packages available or just singel treatments. I was wondering how men felt about this. Come on guys, tell me, would you come to a salon and treat yourselves to some lovely 'you time' that will not break the bank. By the way, it will just be for the men :-)

Used to be one in west end of glasgow my ex went once
For a shave an loved it! Gave him a beer and me a wine!!! A turkish barber has opened here offering fancy haircuts and shaves and is reportedly making a bomb so best of luck to you xx

Not on that street no- about 4 barbers on the main street but as it stands
Folk are going to the out of the way one!! Even kids for the funky hairdo's!!

Loved getting a wee beer/wine and the shaving chair was at the window which was what drew us in so mabye an idea! Guys wont mind as much at the window hahaha imagine a woman at the window being waxed

I also trust your services are all kosher and do not include the Monica Lewinsky offerings. There was one such gentleman (sic) looking for those last week, persistently.

Otherwise, cut-throat shaves are always a pleasure, especially when your stubble is thick (if not dark coloured).

Yes I would definitly be up for that, I'm a vain sod who likes to think he's special, so I'll stand any amount of 'puffy pampering' as my ex used to call it when I went off to steam rooms and 'proper' barbers for a shave. Good luck it's a very good idea:)

depends... men might like it but not every day. If people are only going to come in, say, once a week, you might need to be in the middle of a fairly densely populated area to build up custom. I suspect that they'll need to be in walking distance, too. I'm only guessing, but I'm not sure males would actually take a bus or drive to have a shave, however luxurious.

It would be a nice thing to treat the menfolk do a voucher scheme so women can pay for your services as a birthday extra for example
