Fun Question for the Girls (or boys!)

It has dawned on me that when I put on eye makeup,  I always have my mouth open.  I can't put it on unless I do.

 

Am I just weird? (no rude comments please!!!)

I think you will find most women do it, I believe it stops you blinking so it's a natural, automatic response.

Well, when i am doing my eye make up i pull my lips in tight and raise my eyebrows, my fiance reckons i look like im sucking a lemon and my daughter laughs her head off when she is sitting next to me!

I don't believe this question. I just can't put on my mascara without my mouth being open - much to the amusement of my husband & Grandchildren!

Not only do I do that, but my jaw goes all funny too and I click it to the side...weird

I do that and my boyfriend stands to the side of me mimicing (sp?) me so I realise what I look like, laugh and spread mascara down my cheek, all to his amusement.

It reminds me of when I was little girl & used to stand watching my Dad having a shave. I used to ask him why he had his mouth wide open & he used to look down at me & pull an even funnier face to make me laugh - bless him!

Also remember watching Mum putting her lippy on & looking equally as comical as I do now!

Yea i agree with Jules it stretches the skin abit so if you do blink it doesn't go all down your cheeks! Funny eh i never used to notice till this was siad in a magazine some time ago but it is very hard with your mouth shut, you have to do the biggest glare known to man! LOL

I think that is normal; in order to put on make up your face needs to be smooth. By opening your mouth you are just smoothing out the skin!

OH Fakeplastic, your not weird in the slightest I always do this when i am putting my mascara on , and when I put my lipstick on I pull a really stupid face to stretch my lips ! and when i put my blusher on I always suck my cheeks in and I look like a fish my boyfriend takes the mick out of me for this. Ive also noticed that when I apply lipstick to my sister I still * (purse) my lips and she always laughs!

Nope, you're not weird - i do it all the time (there again, my mouth is open most of the time anyway even when not putting on eyemakeup, so maybe i'm not the best judge!!!) xx
