Is it possible that the dye used in toothbrush brushes could leach out and be harmful.?

Harmful in what way?
The dyes used in products like toothbrushes are thoroughly tested and would be banned from use if they were found to be harmful.
then again those russians ... poke in the leg with an umbrella, cup of coffee in london ....
now a tooth brush in tooting(?)
