You tube
4 Answers
Along with many thousands of others I find that You tube will not play videos on my PC; it gives me the old run around about not having Java stuff etc, I'm sure you have all heard that one.
I have tried every "fix" known to man and some, to no effect......so have stopped worrying about trying to cure it.
I find that if I put the exact title into Google videos it will play the "unplayable" You tube video.....even has the You tube logo on it!
Any ideas why Google can play it but You tube can't
...thanks for any comments.....commoner ;-)

When you go to the actual youtube website, do you get a message saying something along the lines that videos cannot be played due to java being disabled?
Also if you visit
http://www.whatismyflash.com/
does it say that your flash is disabled or not installed?
If this is the case then the version of flash on your computer is not installed properly and so you will need to go into the control panel on your computer and choose add/remove programs then click on and remove adobe flash player.
Restart the computer and then go to the adobe.com website and download the latest version again.
