Did anyone else think that Bank Holiday was tomorrow?

I was planning to fly home tomorrow, and then back at work on Tuesday.

So I just phoned T1 to get her to meet me off the plane tomorrow ...

... and she told me ...

... Bank Holiday is NEXT Monday !!!!!!!

Not tomorrow.

So I've just been trying to get an earlier flight home.

I know, I know ... I'm really stupid.

it's a bank holiday here, today

That's not so stupid Jayne. When my 17 year old daughter was going back to Ireland we asked her over and over again what time the flight was. We arrived at the airport in time for 20:00 flight to be told it left at 08:00.....

I went mad. You'd think at 17 they could read a 24 hour clock.

I'm in Switzerland.

We were in Spain until last Thursday. I was meant to fly home from Jerez. Just before we flew, the BF suggested I come back with him for the weekend.

I thought, fab ... weekend in Geneva, followed by Bank Holiday Monday ... leisurely flight home ...

So here I am !!!!!!

And I've got the wrong weekend.

My late Grandmother was Swiss but unfortunately I have never been to Switzerland. I envy you !! :o)

I've been skiing here a lot, and it's lovely.

Recently, I've been to Geneva a few times (since meeting a guy who lives here) ... and I really love it.

There are so many places from which you can see the lake. And the air is so clean !!!

DixieGal ... I don't think the BF has one of the new Swiss "Bank Holiday" clocks. They just seem to tell the time, LOL.

But ... I will confess ... I have had a bit of a naughty fortnight ... it's been very jolly.
