Patient A Performed a sex act on him, whilst he examined her.

Patient BHe unzipped my trousers and started to examine the lump, but moved his hands further down
I started to laugh and we ended up on the couchdoing things to each other.

Patient C Have you come for sex or treatment asked the Dr. A bit of both she replied.

And would you believe it, it is the DR. that is being criticized and investigated.

I agree to a certain extent. But one of those patients has a history of depression and he threatened that he would withdraw her medication.

The other 2....well, keep your pants on.
Question Author
ummmm....good morning my love, I knew that this topic would bring the "cream" of AB to the surface. :-)
Yes, and rightly so. obviously the Dr. concerned was open to the suggestions. The doctor was totally stupid and deserves all he gets.
Question Author
Quite, but what about the women?
They have nothing to answer for. Unwise what they did and totally stupid but they have done nothing legally wrong and no professional standards to adhere to. The doctor should be struck off. He should have refused to continue examining them and called in another member of staff. What a stupid man.
Question Author
Loffty.....correct.

Now read the Question Title again.........the Dr. knew what he had to lose, the patients knew that it was wrong and they had something to lose....BUT.....they both went ahead.

WHY?

Read the title Question again
Were they a married couple?
Sorry there were three patients. Was the doctor a Mormon??!! ;o)
I read the question title again????? I don't see any significance in the question title.

Off now, bye.
Question Author
Lofty...no,not married, but do you mean Mormon OR moron? LOL
Yes I would.

Are you suggesting that a Dr. should accept avances from a patient during a consultation?

Perhaps a shop assistant should be allowed to romp with a customer after serving them.

Regardless of the ethical issues and there are many - he's not being paid to bonk his patients!
I think they're all as bad as each other....

The doctor should be criticised and investigated - but the women are at fault too. He was obviously a Ladies Man and they knew that - and wanted that.

Question Author
jake....I agree.....lofty has read the Question title.....bit parties knew the consequences but went ahead. WHY?

Perhaps a shop assistant should be allowed to romp with a customer after serving them.

Happens all the tIme jake....and in every section of society.............but ......WHY?
A shop assistant having a romp behind the counter or in the back storeroom is just not comparable with a doctor in his consulting room treating a patient. The doctor should taken the Hippocratic oath, and should follow a code of ethics. It could be seen as abuse of his profession and professional stance.

All are equally 'guilty' and sounds to me the women knew what they wanted - so why bleat about it now? Did their husbands find out?!!
Question Author
salla....perhaps wanting something that has an element of danger in it makes it more desirable and if that is human nature, then should we be critical or should I say hypocritical of it.

Of course the patient /doctor relationship is sacrosanct, but goes on more than one would care to believe.
Question Author
salla....Drs no longer take the Hippocratic Oath.

One of the patient's' husband found out and left her.
I don't see how this is a study in human relationships.
You don't have to tell me that (last bit) sqad - I've worked with doctors & suchlike for the last 25 years !!

Anything with an element of danger is always more exciting - I'm neither critical of this, nor hypocritical..... :-) But I wouldn't do it with MY doctor and I wouldn't think much of him if he suggested it.
It goes on a lot. We all know that. But it doesn't make it right. And there are times when we simply HAVE to control our instinctive behaviour if only to preserve our own self respect. The women were silly and morally it was wrong what they did but the Dr deserves striking off and nothing less.
by last bit, I meant the bit about it 'going on more than one would care to believe'...!

And with their fellow staff too.... :-)
