Patient A Performed a sex act on him, whilst he examined her.
Patient BHe unzipped my trousers and started to examine the lump, but moved his hands further down I started to laugh and we ended up on the couchdoing things to each other.
Patient C Have you come for sex or treatment asked the Dr. A bit of both she replied.
And would you believe it, it is the DR. that is being criticized and investigated.
They have nothing to answer for. Unwise what they did and totally stupid but they have done nothing legally wrong and no professional standards to adhere to. The doctor should be struck off. He should have refused to continue examining them and called in another member of staff. What a stupid man.
Now read the Question Title again.........the Dr. knew what he had to lose, the patients knew that it was wrong and they had something to lose....BUT.....they both went ahead.
A shop assistant having a romp behind the counter or in the back storeroom is just not comparable with a doctor in his consulting room treating a patient. The doctor should taken the Hippocratic oath, and should follow a code of ethics. It could be seen as abuse of his profession and professional stance.
All are equally 'guilty' and sounds to me the women knew what they wanted - so why bleat about it now? Did their husbands find out?!!
salla....perhaps wanting something that has an element of danger in it makes it more desirable and if that is human nature, then should we be critical or should I say hypocritical of it.
Of course the patient /doctor relationship is sacrosanct, but goes on more than one would care to believe.
You don't have to tell me that (last bit) sqad - I've worked with doctors & suchlike for the last 25 years !!
Anything with an element of danger is always more exciting - I'm neither critical of this, nor hypocritical..... :-) But I wouldn't do it with MY doctor and I wouldn't think much of him if he suggested it.
It goes on a lot. We all know that. But it doesn't make it right. And there are times when we simply HAVE to control our instinctive behaviour if only to preserve our own self respect. The women were silly and morally it was wrong what they did but the Dr deserves striking off and nothing less.
