It's been that time and since just before it arrived (last week) have had a horribly painful one of my outer inner lady bits if that makes sense.

Trying to limit embarrasment and be a bit discreet but it's sooo painful and won't go away.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can stop it hurting so much as it's very uncomfortable having anything near it (like clothing!).

None of that business going on for over a year and a half with a long term partner so not like anything like that could have aggravated it.

I've got a fissure in the other bit which just isn't going away due to having chronic diarrhoeah and that's bad enough at the moment so hoping to help the above asap to make things a bit more comfortable.

Thank you for any help :)

You really sound like you need professional help - please - see your doctor! If it doesn't go away, it needs proper treatment, otherwise it could do you some damage.
Jenna....you need to see yr GP as it could be many things, but from your description, it could be a Bartholin's Cyst or Bartholin's Abscess.
...in which case Jenna - ow ow ow indeed.
My sympathies are with you - but you need to be with a GP !
Maybe just an infection caused from the diarrhoeah, and it's got a wee (pardon the pun) bit sore.Try vagisil cream or a light anti-septic cream like savlon . Sounds like it has a little cut in it or something. If that doesnt help at all then you'll just have to go to the docs. Don't worry, they've heard and seen it all before and that's what we pay them for!

Thank you all. I've just changed GP after moving and got an appointment but not until Monday.

Am at home today with the evil cold going round so might pop down the walk in centre in town and see if they can help.

Owowow indeed Salla!

also mate got -ahem-herself stuck "together" with wax...and subsequently to the bath....x
Are you typing about your labia majora or labia minora?

Why can't people just use the correct name, what's embarrassing about it?

sounds to me like you may have a cyst, due to maybe a blocked hair folicle, very painful! see your GP! easily treated! get there asap.............hope you feel better soon!.....................welsh
You may have an infection in the area - which the diarrhoea might've caused. With having a fissure, it's very easy to get these, so you need to see the doctor hun. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but you should never leave anything like that, hoping it'll just go away.

Thank you all. Sorry MWB, I think it's the minora ones (the inner ones?).

Tried to see someone yesterday but the doctors have no appointments until monday and by the time I got to the walk in centre they had stopped booking people in as they were so busy but hoping to see someone today.

Am going to see if they can help the fissure as well as it's so painful and just won't heal.

Not been waxing or shaving, just trim as too much pain down there already without all that :)

Will let you know how it goes.

Saw the doctor this morning and she said it's an infection so have some stuff for it (and some more for the fissure) so fingers crossed it will clear itself up and things will e a bit more comfortable.

Thanks for all your help :)
Hope it gets better quickly for you Jenna x
