the signs of a cocoaine user.

is there signs that someone is a cocaine user?
what are the side effects besides the obvious physical ones on a person.. ie is there any long term mental health effects?
i'm asking because i've gone thru an awful break up with my fiance and father to my son and i suspect that he was a habitual user at the end(or much longer) although he always denied it and i wonder if this has caused the huge change in him and then the end of us?
i've just got in touch with a friend after around 18 months and she says that her boyfriend said he spotted that my ex was a coke user the last time they saw us--that he could see the signs!
coke is not something i've ever used and so i don't know much about it. i've tried looking on the net but haven't found out much. i know it's all by the by as far as our relationship goes but i'm curious about the past and worried for the present as he still sees my son who's only 3 yrs old. his new girlfirend is also an ex drug addict(something my ex told me before we even split up)the natural thing is for my son to go to my ex's new place overnight,etc but i can't allow it while i have these concerns. any advice / info anyone can give me on this is much appreciated.

They sniff a lot and have a runny nose without any other signs they have a cold (so I've read). Sometimes a user can forget the clear their nostrils properly and a white grain or two can be seen near or just inside a nostril.

And if they are heavy user, like one of my friends was, they can become scarily paranoid.

Abnormal highs and lows to fit in with the drug use, unnatural levels of energy and personality at strange times etc...their eyes can look wired too. It can cause an extreme confidence like change in personality while on then the problems in coming down (and potential other associated drug use) like the tiredness, irritability, paranoia as ummmm said etc...

As said above, an irritated nose and if serious long term use I've seen nose bleeds and severe headaches in people.

It really depends on the usage, could be anything from a couple of lines on a big night out to more regular use to serious addiction.

yeah lots of mates do it.....know sum1 who was addicted and had problems concieving (male)....

big wide eyes, sniffing, touching their nose...and they chase the high..only lasts a while then they need to have more....FREQUENT trips to the loo whilst out and about ..also....sounds daft but my ex was on it...they use bank or credit cards or similar to cut it with...i used to check the back of the card for it-used to stick in the numbers t the back! (i am fly arent i) xx
