The fingernails on my right hand are noticeably bigger than those on my left, as are the toenails on my right foot. Is this a common phenomena? If I was left-handed would the nails on my other hand/foot be bigger or is it coincidence?

Any ideas?!

I'm left handed and can happily say that my nails on my left hand and foot are no bigger than those on my left.

For your hands isn't it just because you are better at cutting the nails on your left hand if you hold the scissors in your right hand?
That argument fails though when it comes to your toe nails

I've heard it's common for nails on the hand you favor to grow faster... do you mean they are wider, or thicker or longer or all of the above?

Don't think they're thicker but certainly wider & longer. With regards to cutting them, I use a pair of clippers not scissors.

Maybe it is just me & I'm a freak!! Help!
