I have quite a large tattoo on the top of my arm........wasn't painful just unpleasant. Well I managed a couple of fags and a cup of coffee whilst it was being done.....

ok thank you for all your advice :)
Everyone I know who has had a tattoo wishes they had not done it. Think about it
I have both my upper arms done and they weren't to bad, i also have the top of my back done, the right side was ok but the left side was very painful, there doesn't seem to be any definitive answer. If you want to get a tattoo then go for it, people who try to put off are only doing it because they don't like them!
I've never regretted having mine done brucie.......although now I'm a pensioner I tend not to wear sleeveless tops so nobody ever sees it......
Well, it depends what you consider bad pain, the only way I can descibe having a tattoo is that it's bearable.
I have one on the left side of my lower back, one on my thigh, and one on my hip.
Hip and thigh wasn't painful in the least, but lower back is quite painful.
Maybe on your shoulder? Or on your forearm, don't take it really close to your hand, as that is mean to be quite sore.
Painful places will always be where there is loose skin on bony areas.
I've got one on the back of my shoulder and all I remember feeling was pressure, not pain so much. You might also want to consider where is least likely to droop as you age - that was why I picked my shoulder, it is also easily covered up or bared depending on the situation.
Least painful, obviously ... where the skin is thickest. So ...

1. your back (but not near the middle)

2. your butt
am i the only aber who hasnt had a tattoo?
no your not cazzz,

though I have been tempted.
im too nerdy for tattoos in fairness
I'm pretty nerdy cazzz :)
