Methotrexate?

I have been on Methotrexate for just over a year, for my RA,as yet I have had no side effects. I have a blood test every two months, and the drug seems to be doing a good job.

Thanks marval - i appreciate your answer - I will be tested every two months also - can I ask how long it took for you to begin feeling the effects.
As I believe it's slow working ?

Hi Peri

It took about a month before I noticed any improvement. which I suppose is not bad.

It it is certainly bettter now, I have less pain and more movement.

It's good to discuss this with someone on the medication . I've had pain for 20 years so this diagnosis is very positive for me - will let you know how it goes or if I've any more questions. I really appreciate this - it's very positive
