I have two milk teeth (I'm 24 btw) which apparently dont have a root - I think they need pulling soon because they're kinda loose. I know normally you cant get cosmetic work done on the nhs, but because this isnt my fault would I be able to get it done? Otherwise it'll cost about £3000 in total.

Apparently a 3 unit bridge has a crown fitted either side? I dont want an implant so I think this is the best option.

I have 2 milk teeth and im 35! Are you employed? If you are it will cost im afraid, I wouldnt go for bridge as they have to file the teeth either side like 2 little points.....google it on images and you will see what I mean. Im gonna get clip in ones!!! lol
Sarah - you may be able to get this work done on the NHS - but you may have to go before a tribunal with your dentist and they will decide yay or nay.
Sarahjayne, you have 5 main treatment options for each of the resultant spaces:
1) Accept the space
2) A removable partial denture
3) A fixed bridge
4) A resin-retained bridge
5) An implant-retained crown
All of these options have their advantages and disadvantages. You ideally need to discuss with your dentist the most appropriate treatment for you, both short-term and long-term, and then to discuss the possible funding options. If the treatment is needed to 'maintain oral health' it should be provided for under NHS arrangements. Hopr this is of help.
trouble is of course that "oral health" can be maintained even with a blooming great gap!
I doubt you will get a bridge like that on NHS. I needed a larger one .. went to specialist at Oxford .. they would only do a plate : (
Bridge = approx £200-250 per tooth! Implants more.
Prob cheaper to go to USA.
