Not sure if I am posting this in the right place, if I'm not, please tell me,but I was wondering this.
People who have a gastric band fitted, do it so they can lose weight. When they've had it done, they are restricted as to what they can eat. i'e fluids, liquid food, pureed food.
My question is this.If you didn't have a gastric band fitted but eat as if you did, would you lose the weight the same?
If you think that's possible, how can I find out what people eat that have had this procedure?

Thanks for the link tambourine but I don't actually want a gastric band fitted, just want to know what food people can eat when they have had one fitted and I couldn't see that info on the link you posted.
This site from BOSPA will give you that information

It was quite easy to Google, if you put "Food Gastric Band" in the search box (as I did) several links to info about this will come up.
