You may remember Sqad a couple of months back I posted about my constant giddy spells and my doc sent me to the hosp. to see a Neurologist. He then sent me for a MRI brain scan. You said you would be interested in the results.
I recieved a letter from Professor Hawkes today.
Mrs F@@@@ Your MRI brain scan showed quite marked small vessel disease and right sided mastoiditis.... goes on to mention my diabetis and hypertention as a probable cause.
He has made an appt for me to see a ENT specialist. Thinks the mastoiditis could be the cause of the giddy spells.
(more things for me to worry about) Funny thing is I'm having no trouble with my ears.

It is very odd that mastoiditis severe enough to cause "giddy spells," would also NOT produce discharge from the ears and in my opinion the "mastoiditis" may well be a radiological diagnosis rather than a clinical one............if you see what I mean.
Thanks again and keep me informed.
