Somewhere between 4 and 7 feet.

It's not that easy to predict, I'm afraid. Could be tall, could be short, only time will tell...

yep, difficult to say.  My dad is 6'3 and my mum is 5'4 and I'm around 5'7 or 5'8.   I remember my biology teacher telling me that you can expect a child to be almost exactly in between the parents, but it isn't 100%
Seems most kids take after one parent or another, I don't know the specifics of why.

So they're either likely to be around 5ft or over 6ft, probably not bang in between.
My mum and dad are both 5ft5, I am 5ft7 and my brother is 6ft2.
I was told when a girl was 2 years 4 months (or a boy, 2 years exactly) if you double their height, you get the height they will be as an adult.
In general, people tend to revert slightly to the 'average'. In this case, if the girl takes after her mother, she will be taller than her mother but may still be slightly shorter than average, maybe 5'3" ish, and if she takes after father, will be shorter than him but still taller than average, maybe 5' 7"ish. Not very exact, is it? Another very rough rule of thumb is that a child is approximately half his or her adult height at the age of 2.

Well my dad is 6' 1" and my mum is 5' 4".

I have finished somewhener inbetween both at 5' 8" and my brother is pretty much same height as dad.

So I don't think you can guess, it could be any height!

Old wife's tale that sons will be at least as tall as their mothers - true in both my sons cases. (I'm a 6 ft tall mum) Other than that, I'd go with Hammer's excellent prediction!
Oh and my 6 ft 4 in son was under 3ft at the age of 2. (I'm so glad we're metric in the UK!!!)
I heard that if you have a son he will always be taller than his mother but there's no guarantee by how much. According to the theory on doubling height at about 2yrs old my brother should have been 6' but in fact he's only 5'7" which is actually an inch shorter than our Dad but our Mum is 5'2".

If you have a daughter then it's anyone's guess! I'm an inch taller than Mum but I stopped growing at age 12 so I went from the tallest in the class in the first year of secondary school to one of the shortest by the end. You just can't tell.
