The title sasy it all, it just came in to my head the other day, that maybe shaving body hair could make you lose a few pounds, a lazier alternative to exercising.

Jon Tickle tested this out on the Sky One show "Brainiac: Science Abuse". He reckoned that shaving his head meant he lost 5 grammes. So you might reduce your weight by as much as an ounce if you shaved all your body hair off. You wouldn't see a lot of helth benefits from this though. I guess it might be a little more hygenic not to have hairs trapping sweat on your skin, but that's about all.
And you'd still be fat.
How hairy are you ?
Oh come on.....even Chewbacca wouldn't have lost much weight if he'd shaved so as Haggisdj says..How hairy are you?  We know you have to shave every day so you possibly are quite dark and hairy but even so........
I use to have my hair shaved right into the scalp & trust me it doesn't reduce your weight by any means.
