Ladies, which is best in this mascara- Waterproof (green top) or non-waterproof (black top)?

I heard that waterproof mascara actually DRIES OUT your lashes.

sorry i got them the wrong way around! waterproof is black top and non-waterproof is green top

Its the classic one.

My beautician always tells me not to use waterproof mascara as you have to scrub harder to get it off and therefore drag your skin.  Doing this everyday causes your skin to lose elasticity and become saggy and wrinkly in that area

I'd recommend Christian Dior's Maximeyes. It's more expensive (about �12.00) but it makesyour lashes look really long and seperates all your lashes.

I actually have both the waterproof and non-waterproof one.  I think the waterproof one makes your lashes look thicker without clogging or flaking so I wear this on weekends when im going out. The non-waterproof is great aswell and i use this during the week.  Overall, I prefer the effect of the the waterproof but as people say its not very good for your lashes, I try not to use it all the time!

I've found all Maybelline mascaras to be rubbish. I find Boots number 7 range much better. Maybelline mascara goes on very cloggy and looks awful!
