Pink Floyd are one of my fav's, trying not to be too morbid PFs' Albatross' will be played at my funeral as the mourners arrive.(Its all in my will) + 2 other songs that have had a big influence in my life.
'Without You' by Neilson to be played within the service and Simply Reds 'Every Time we Say Goodbye' as the mourners leave....
Who else has made stipulations in their will?
(You've got to talk about it now,) or some abscure music you would have hated could be played.

But seriously how can you better Graham Chapman's Fulneral -"always look on the bright side of life?" and John Cleese saying "I'd like to be the first person to say f**k at this fulneral"

Rob Thomas - Now comes the night
When the hour is upon us
And our beauty surely gone
No you will not be forgotten
No you will not be alone
And when the day has all but ended
And our echo starts to fade
No you will not be alone then
And you will not be afraid
No you will not be afraid
When the fog has finally lifted
From my cold and tired brow
No I will not leave you crying
And I will not let you down
No I will not let you down
I will not let you down
Now comes the night
Feel it fading away
And the soul underneath
Is it all that remains
So just slide over here
Leave your fear in the fray
Let us hold to each other
Until the end of our days
When the hour is upon us
And our beauty surely gone
No you will not be forgotten
No you will not be alone
No you will not be alone
When the hour is upon us
And our beauty surely gone
No you will not be forgotten

I went to a funeral of a very disabled friend who had had a hard life and she had
" Somewhere over the rainbow" played. Another I went to we sang "Que sera ,sera" She was a young woman who had had a long diagnosis of cancer and had filled her last years to the brim . RIP .
I have no wishes at all for mine but PLEASE not " I did it my way"
Cremation and scattering of ashes on the beach will do me.

I want Elvis (or Willie Nelson)'s 'Always On My Mind' (sentimental reasons) and I would also like 'Love Changes Everything' by Michael Ball.
I would love to play 'Hoots Mon, There's A Moose Loose Aboot This Hoose'... the people there would appreciate the humour as I've always been a joker, but I suppose it would be a bit irreverant and my children may not appreciate it at the time.
