How to be what i want to be
When i am older my ultimate ambition is to work for the BBC as a journalist or media supervisor presenter. Wether or not i work for the bbc or another news or media organisation i have been pondering what university and what course is the best for achieving this. Thanks

However, particulalrly if you want to work for the BBC, a languages degree would stand you in very good stead as the ability to speak a second or third language would be an added bonus to thousands of applciants they get.
Whatever degree you choose, what is more important is that you will need to prove a desire to work in media. as i've said it's a profession which thousands of people want to work in and the demand for jobs far outstrips the supply. at university make sure you work for the uni paper and/ or radio/ tv station if it has one. if it doesn't see if you can set one up (that would impress an employer). in your holidays apply for work experience anywhere and everywhere.
once you leave uni if you're lucky you may get a job straight away. if not you may have to do a post-grad journalism course, probably in broadcast journalism if you're looking at the bbc. whichever one you choose make sure its approved by the NCTJ.
good luck
